Please join us on in the gym on March 2nd to chat with Hooman Aprin, an accomplished climber who has led climbs and summited Everest and other big Himalayan peaks! He will be talking about his experiences, sharing slides and bringing gear. Kids will visit the gym in groups throughout the day — check with your child’s teacher to find out when they are coming. Everyone is welcome and be sure to bring your questions!

February’s Equity Committee meeting is coming up on Wednesday, February 10th, from 6-8pm in room 9. As always, dinner and childcare will be provided. The topic is anti-racism 101, with guest Martin Friedman from the Peoples’ Institute. Learn about the fundamentals of anti-racism work and how to do this work in an elementary/middle school setting. We hope to see you on Wednesday!
